Chipotle Joins Retailers Offering Vaccine Benefits

Chipotle Mexican Grill has announced that it will be offering “buy-one, get-one free” (BOGO) restaurant entrees on Tuesday, July 6 from 3 p.m. until closing at participating US establishments as part of National Holiday Month. White House action on vaccines.

“As a proud participant in National Vaccination Action Month, we encourage our fans to give their friends free Chipotle as a reward for getting the vaccine,” said Chris Brandt, Director of Marketing.

Customers only need to say “Friends BOGO” at checkout to exchange a free dish for the purchase of another dish. The offer supports the White House’s ongoing initiative to vaccinate more Americans this summer.

The White House National Month of Action has the participation of a number of brands offering various incentives in support of the immunization effort.

As a separate initiative, Chipotle supports Folds of Honor through its “Round Up For Real Change” feature on the Chipotle app and Chipotle.com. Guests can round up their change to the highest dollar amount until July 14 to support Folds of Honor, which funds $ 5,000 college scholarships to families of deceased and disabled US military personnel. Folds of Honor has awarded a total of 29,000 scholarships in all 50 states since its founding in 2007 by Lt. Col. Dan Rooney, an Iraq War veteran. Scholarships for the program mainly go to high school students across the country.
