Echoing Donald Jr.’s claims, social media users are alleging the Truth Social beta launched for some users, including the former president.

“TRUTH Social (beta) dropped and President Trump is active on his own account!” tweeted Liz Willis, vice president of operations at Right Side Broadcasting Network. “The world heals.”

Trump plans to launch the Truth Social platform on February 21 – Presidents Day – according to his Apple App Store listing. The platform appears to be an almost exact replica of Twitter.

Screenshots of Trump’s Truth Social account show he reportedly joined the social media network on February 10.

Tuesday noon, he had 175 subscribers. It is not known if his number of followers has since increased because the platform is still not accessible to everyone.

A reporter from DailyMail.com attempted to request access to the platform but was placed on a waiting list.

According to footage shared online, the platform looks a lot like Twitter, which Trump was an avid user of before he was suspended.

A pre-test version of the social media site went live in December, less than two months after the mobile beta was made available to a handful of journalists, DailyDot reported.

The site displayed a login page for users who had gained early access to the platform.

“Welcome to the TRUTH Social Beta,” read the welcome message. “We are thrilled to have you here and truly appreciate your patience as we actively make the TRUTH more accessible to everyone.”

The beta site was taken down shortly after its URL was shared online. The website domain now redirects users to truthsocial.com, where they can also join the waitlist.

Last month, TMTG was valued at $5.3 billion based on the stock price of Digital World Acquisition Corp (DWAC) – a so-called blank check company used to take the Trump business public – which rose 20% after details were released on the platform’s app store listing .

It is unclear what the company is currently valued at.

TMTG is a publicly traded company with almost no public information available about its business, finances, executives or other operations, Bloomberg reported.

However, in October, the company announced a merger with DWAC, which would have brought $293 million in cash to TMTG in exchange for shares in the company.

DWAC hit a market capitalization of nearly $1.5 billion when news of the merger broke.

Trump, who will serve as chairman of TMTG, first announced the creation of Truth Social last fall, saying the platform would create a rival social network to the current “liberal media consortium” and ” fights against Silicon Valley’s “Big Tech” companies, which have used their one-sided power to silence opposing voices in America.

“I created TRUTH Social and TMTG to stand up to the tyranny of Big Tech. We live in a world where the Taliban has a big presence on Twitter, but your favorite US President has been silenced,” he said in October.

‘This is unacceptable. I’m excited to be posting my first TRUTH on TRUTH Social very soon. TMTG was founded with a mission to give everyone a voice. I’m excited to soon start sharing my thoughts on TRUTH Social and fighting Big Tech. Everyone asks me why nobody stands up to Big Tech? Well, we will be soon!

Alongside the social media service, TMTG also plans to launch a subscription-based video-on-demand service called TMTG+, which it says will feature “unawakened” entertainment programs, news, podcasts and more.

Scott St. John, executive producer of Deal or No Deal and America’s Got Talent, has been named head of corporate operations for TMTG+ and will oversee the service.

Trump’s creation on Truth Social comes as he was banned from Twitter, Facebook and Instagram earlier this year following the Jan. 6 riot on Capitol Hill. Twitter’s ban is permanent, with Facebook and Instagram saying they will consider reinstating Trump at a later date.

Trump used Twitter to reveal policy decisions, fire aides and chat with critics, and saw it as a vital means of communication with his 88 million followers, many of whom were supporters.

The president is among those being investigated by the January 6 committee for allegedly knowing about the riot in advance and helping to organize it.

The former president had previously lashed out at the companies, saying they infringed on his freedom of speech and were run by “Radical Left Lunatics”.

With his social media presence hampered, Trump had been forced to communicate with his supporters through his website, From the Desk of Donald J. Trump, which launched in May.

The planned launch of the platform drew mixed reactions on Twitter.

‘I just signed up. Twitter’s time is up,” social media user Thiago Viana wrote.

“#TruthSocial is #DonaldTrump’s TERRORISM NETWORK,” user @JamusB slammed.

“This will HUGELY help @FBI, @CIA and @INTERPOL_HQ by concentrating criminal elements on one platform, making it even easier to take them down. #DTTN #DonaldTrumpTerrorismNetwork. Darker than the DARKEST Web.’

‘Truth Social is a lot like the Fyre Festival; you know, the one even Anna Delvey said no to,’ @gillyworks wrote, referring to the fraudulent luxury music festival founded by con artist Billy McFarland and rapper Ja Rule and the woman who defrauded banks, members of New York high society and hotels by pretending to be a wealthy German heiress.

‘My favorite president is going to see me soon? I can’t wait to meet Joe or Barack!’ wrote @ianinamerica.

“Go trump blatant counterfeit, we won’t miss you,” @schwimmphan added.

“Truth Social will be as successful as Trump University, the Trump Foundation and the twice impeached loser,” @mmpadellen said. ‘And that is the Truth.’
