Lokal, a hyperlocal social media platform appoints Ishan Kajaria as vice president

As Vice President of Sales, Ishan will lead monetization efforts for local business ads, wedding, real estate and classifieds. He will lead the sales vertical and be responsible for revenue growth while building the best-in-class team at Lokal. With this strategic move, Lokal aims to leverage Ishan’s expertise in scaling businesses and teams, thereby achieving a targeted growth rate of 100 Cr in revenue.

Ishan has over 14 years of experience and demonstrated proficiency in creating and executing the sales roadmap for his previous organizations. Prior to Lokal, he led national sales for B2C lending business at ePayLater, where he was responsible for growing the business 80x in 3 years by india largest retail segment, i.e. Kirana stores. It also comes with a decade of rich experience, having worked at Vodafone where he played a key role in retail sales. He has led large sales teams of over 1000 members, generated over 100 Cr in monthly sales and worked in multinationals as well as startups.
