Bob graduated from Hillsborough
Regional High and later worked in the family business at
Funeral home in Hillsborough. He got his funeral director and
Licensed as an embalmer at a young age and helped in every way possible.
His personality of being kind and considerate helped him stand out in
caring for the families he served. He loved woodworking and helped
in the manufacture of coffins. Following the closure of the funeral home,
became a health inspector for the province of N.B. He met and married
the love of his life, Phyllis (Beaumont) and the two had a long life
together. They attended Hillsborough Baptist Church. He builds
their house from scratch and was very proud of it. He had a
special place in his heart for animals, especially his cat Lucy and
horse, Tom. He enjoyed the harness racing industry and spent many
days on the track, he spent his time being a pilot and loved
every minute. He loved to travel and eat out
restaurants with his wife and friends. He was happy to have been able to attend
Expo 67 where he made many memories. Bob was a calm and humble man
and one of the nicest men you’ll ever meet. He was small in
stature but had a big heart. He will be remembered for his sweet
smile while remembering all the good times shared. “Always be
humble and kind”

When he arrived at Forest Dale Home he was
so happy and felt blessed to be treated with such kindness and
support from all the staff, they definitely went above and beyond. A
a special thank you to everyone who contributed to his care. Special
thank you to Dr Richard Morcom and Dr Ronald Garston for their presence
if necessary. He was really lucky to have so many good friends and
people concerned about their well-being.

He will be deeply missed by his
sister, Marietta Goodall of Florida; nieces and nephews and cousins.
He will also be missed by very close friends who have always been
there for him, his chosen family; Gayle Steves of Hillsborough,
Debbie Steeves (Fred Irving) of Baltimore and their family, Wally
McLean of Moncton, Allison Macaulay of Hillsborough and Darrel and
Terry Petley of NS

Besides his parents, he died before
by his beloved wife, Phyllis; brother, Ralph (Dawn); brother in law,
Martin Goodall

There will be a visiting time at
celebrate his life at the Albert County Funeral Home on Tuesday,
August 23 from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. There will be words of comfort and words of
incarceration at 7:30 p.m. During the tour, refreshments will be served in
the reception area of ​​the funeral home. Burial will take place at
Grey’s Island Cemetery, Hillsborough, N.B.
