Content aggregator company ScreenHits TV has launched its new app.
The app, which allows users to integrate and manage their streaming, AVOD, and live channel subscriptions, is now available on iOS, Android TV, Chromecast, and Amazon Fire Stick.
In an era of growing content fragmentation and a seemingly endless array of streaming services, ScreenHits TV aims to show users the trends and a traditional-style EPG on a single platform.
Currently, integrated streaming services include Amazon Prime, Disney +, StarzPlay, Moviesphere, Paramount Plus, BritBox, MUBI, ITV Hub, and BFI Player. Additionally, the premium app offers access to live premium channels and bundle discounts for £ 0.99 per month.
The app is initially launching in the US and UK, with plans for rollout to 23 countries over the next year. The company also said it plans to roll out native Apple TV, LG, Vizio, and Roku apps at a later date.
ScreenHits TV CEO Rose Adkins Hulse said, “As more consumers move from traditional TV to app TV, there’s no better time to introduce a platform that empowers consumers to organize and organize their streaming subscriptions as channels have become accustomed. Plus, with the ability to now watch live TV and consume recorded content (VOD) online, it’s easier for consumers to integrate all of their streaming channels and services into one organized app.
