You will be responsible for imagining, planning and creating original text, images and video content for two D2C food brands as well as published content and customer communications. Responsibilities

  • Design and implement a social media strategy to align with company goals
  • Design, plan and execute social marketing campaigns to drive engagement, followers and ROI
  • Generate, edit, publish and share engaging content on all branded social channels (original text, photos, videos and news)
  • Capture content including images and videos to post to branded channels
  • Proactively attend and participate in brand product shoots
  • Research current referral trends and audience preferences
  • Work alongside the CMO to set specific goals and report ROI, monitor results and optimize accordingly
  • Collaborate with other team members including business owners, marketing, sales and customer service to ensure brand consistency
  • Communicate with subscribers, respond to questions in a timely manner, and monitor customer reviews
  • Oversee the design of social media accounts
  • Suggest and implement new features to build brand awareness, such as promotions and contests
  • Stay up to date with current technologies and trends in social media, design tools and apps
  • Identify like-minded brand partnerships to elevate brands and drive engagement and ROI
  • Monitor social media progress using web analytics tools
  • Proactively research new media platforms, industry trends and opportunities

Requirements and skills

  • Proven work experience as a social media manager
  • Hands-on experience in content creation and management
  • Excellent writing skills
  • A creative at heart, with the ability to provide creative campaign ideas and content (text, image and video) and knowledge of creative platforms such as Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Knowledge of online marketing channels
  • Analytical and multitasking skills
  • Experience working with social media influencers and brand partners
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to manage and resolve customer issues via social media
  • Experience with Hootsuite, Sprout Social, HubSpot or similar platforms
  • Experience with technologies and best practices for web design, web production and creative design across multiple platforms
  • Experience in identifying and creating campaigns for the target audience
  • Excellent analytical and time management skills
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to oversee multiple projects
  • Experience in understanding tactical social campaigns to drive results, including acquisition, retention and brand building ads is a plus!
  • A higher education in photography or videography is a plus!
