Social Media and Content Coordinator


BRITTL is a small but powerful social media/marketing agency operating out of Victoria’s Surf Coast and Melbourne.

Representing a cohort of beauty, fashion and tech companies that aren’t afraid of fun or puns, the work we do at BRITTL is digital and dynamic.

We are looking for a Social Media and Content Coordinator who is more than enthusiastic about all things content, copy and community. You will be flexible, have an innate understanding of pop culture and the social media landscape, have an eye for design, appreciate brand codes and tones of voice, and be eager to learn and grow quickly.

About you
Ideally, you will be/have:
• Conveniently located in the wider Geelong/Surfcoast area, Melbourne also works MORE happy to do a mix of office work and working from home.
• Have a graduate degree/extensive experience in marketing, communications or public relations.
• Have experience managing a variety of social media accounts, with proven engagement and growth.
• A smart copywriter (this one is essential!)
• Know TikTok and Instagram inside out, inside and out.
• Be comfortable with Adobe Suite, Mailchimp, Later.
• Have a real talent for editing video content.
• A highly organized and motivated human with great attention to detail.

About the role:
• 2-3 days per week, hybrid remote and office role with flexible hours and plenty of room for growth.
• Evening and weekend hours are required due to the nature of the social media landscape.

Alongside the team, you will be in charge of:
• End-to-end content creation (both static and animated), including planning, creating, curating, scheduling, writing, publishing and reporting across all social media platforms.
• Community management and outreach, responding to comments and questions, promoting engagement and conversation.
• Produce engaging video content that leverages trends and different engagement tools across platforms (think: TikToks, IG Reels & Stories).
• Monitor the social media landscape identifying trends and informing client strategy.
• Occasionally observe client meetings/filming to capture content.
