SSVAP announces its series of seminars and personal interactions in 6 cities in India

New Delhi [India], Aug 12 (ANI/SRV): Symbiosis School of Visual Arts and Photography (formerly Symbiosis School of Photography), has announced its series of offline events to be held in six cities across India – Vadodara (August 17) , Calcutta (August 18), Delhi (August 20), Chandigarh (August 21) and Pune (August 23). Those interested in the field of visual arts and photography will be able to gain insight into the industry through personal interactions with SSVAP Director Gagan Prakash. In addition, workshops led by industry giants such as Canon and Nikon will also be organized as well as conferences led by renowned filmmakers and photographers.

Through the series of offline events in these six cities, the premier visual arts and photography institute in India aims to simplify the application process. Interested candidates who wish to continue their studies at SSVAP are required to pre-register to secure their place in the Personal Interaction (PI) rounds at – In addition to the transparent process, students who have questions regarding the course and future prospects can have their doubts cleared by SSVAP’s experienced faculty.
Interested candidates attending the event in Vadodara, renowned documentary filmmaker and photographer Viral Pandya will welcome interactions with interested individuals and share his lessons learned from countless successful projects and campaigns. Viral also received KCA Younger Mind Award from Kanoria Art Gallery, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Additionally, the event in Kolkata will be honored by Aritra Dutta Banik, a film actor and post-production artist. With her background in movies, soap operas and TV shows, interested candidates will be able to gain valuable insight into the inner workings of the industry. Additionally, renowned documentary, editorial and commercial photographer with a gift for storytelling, Nitish Karn, will share his invaluable experience with those interested in understanding the craft of photography. As part of its programming for Chandigarh, SSVAP will invite Gitesh Gupta, an expert in action, sports, portrait and landscape photography, to have a personal interaction with those in attendance and help them understand the nuances of the industry.

Students interested in unlocking a plethora of career opportunities and furthering their education at SSVAP can apply for the institute’s flagship program – BA in Visual Arts and Photography. For the Bachelor of Fine Arts program, students belonging to any stream can apply as their passion and aspiration towards the subject is considered a priority. To be eligible for the program, the student must pass the standard XII (10+2) exam or equivalent exam from any recognized board with a minimum of 45% or equivalent mark.
