Fox’s AVOD platform Tubi and social media platform TikTok are teaming up to host a live event that will spotlight some of the biggest TV shows and stars of the 90s and early 2000s .
Hosted by TikTok creator Brittany Broski, the hour-long live stream will take place on the TikTok app on Wednesday, June 30 and include a variety of anecdotes and other challenges designed to highlight the titles of the Tubi library, including “Dawson’s Creek”, “The Nanny”, “Friday Night Lights” and “Degrassi: The Next Generation”.
âTubi and TikTok, two powerful destinations for young audiences to experience nostalgic content, make this innovative partnership an ideal location for our live event,â said Natalie Bastian, Vice President of Marketing at Tubi, in a statement. “We have seen a direct correlation between the titles that are trending on TikTok and the growth of those titles on Tubi, which serves as the primary viewing platform for TikTok users.”
